RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Alexandria, Louisiana
Full-time day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
2 openings
Temp-to-perm is possible

Unit Details

Patient population includes cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and devices
Weekend coverage is every third or fourth weekend
On-call is required, scheduled in collaboration with other staff
Dress code: Galaxy blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Additional Notes

New hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
New hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete organizational entry competency validation, a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation, and annual competency verification
Critical care experience is preferred, but new graduates are accepted
