ER Nurse

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Night shift
3x12s
7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekends required as needed, with at least 8 per contract
Holidays as needed
Floating required as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Clinical Setting / Role Details

General Emergency Department, combined adult/pediatric, non-trauma
Ratios: 1:5
Skills include blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, starting IVs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, CPAP/BiPAP, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients

First-time travelers are accepted
EPIC familiarity is listed in the source
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
