Description
RN MedSurg/Telemetry
Location
- Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Full-time, 3x12 schedule
- 7a–7p
- Weekend and holiday rotation
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient/family education, and care coordination.
- Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to support patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
- BSN

- Clear, respectful verbal and written communication
- Collaboration with the care team
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
- Ability to use computer systems and applications or be trained
Work Environment
- Unit-based nursing role with participation in quality improvement activities and core measures
