Physical Therapist

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Burlingame, California
Acute care hospital setting
Day shift schedule: Tuesday–Friday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
32 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in California
Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop/update individualized plans of care
Provide and progress treatment based on patient needs and plan of care
Document evaluations, tests, charge capture, and other required clinical records
Coordinate care with other providers and support staff
Supervise assistants and/or aides
Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students
Participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary projects
Inspect and use equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and report malfunctions
