Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Charleston, West Virginia
• Day shift, 5x8 hours
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Orientation occurs every other week on Thursday
• Weekend call is required on a rotating basis, 2 weekends per month
• No floating required
• Blocked schedule approval depends on staffing at the time of contract
• First-time travelers are accepted if experience requirements are met

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Work Setting

• PACU with pediatric and adult patients
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for pediatric patients and 2:1 for adult patients
• Average daily census: 26
• Short-term acute care facility
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Major teaching hospital

• 100-mile radius rule applies; candidates within 75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval
• RTO restrictions: none
• Free parking for travelers
• Scrub color: bright blue
