ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Patient ratio: 1:2

Key Responsibilities

Float to IMC, PCU, and Step Down
Work every other weekend
Complete 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

Navy blue scrubs
Valid government-issued photo ID or passport
E-Verify or attestation
2 professional references within 3 years of hire
Pass/fail testing for medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency as applicable
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test during orientation
Tdap
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
Hepatitis B vaccination series with positive titer, or signed facility declination
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Required onboarding and compliance documents before start
