ICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Patient ratio: 1:2
Key Responsibilities
- Float to IMC, PCU, and Step Down
- Work every other weekend
- Complete 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Navy blue scrubs
- Valid government-issued photo ID or passport
- E-Verify or attestation
- 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
- Pass/fail testing for medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency as applicable
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test during orientation
- Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
- Hepatitis B vaccination series with positive titer, or signed facility declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Required onboarding and compliance documents before start
