Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Schedule: 3rd shift, 3x12s
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience
BSN

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
Provide direct patient care, including rounds, assessments, treatments, and patient/family education
Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
Delegate and oversee care tasks as appropriate
Participate in quality improvement activities and unit-based initiatives
