Job Overview

Weekend coverage: As required by facility
Float: As required by facility

Required Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
NMTCB certification
RT-N or BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
Driver's License
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for travelers from November 1 to April 1

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT scans independently at a technical level
Transport patients when needed
Follow universal precautions and use PPE appropriately
Perform post-processing on Vitrea workstations
Perform functions on the QC workstation

Technical skill in medical scanning
Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge
Computer skills
Ability to lift, move, and transport patients
Ability to stand and walk continuously
Ability to adapt to stressful and emergent situations
