Job Overview

• Location: Columbia, South Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: Must work 2 of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Intermediate Care (3 years of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ACLS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Schedule Requirements

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Unit Details

• Intermediate Intensive Care / Intermediate Medical Care setting
• Adult patient population including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases
• Typical ratio: 1:3
• Staff must be able to manage cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmias, telemetry, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips

Floating

• Floating to other units or campuses may be required as needed, within documented competencies

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted
• Pending license is not accepted
• EPIC experience is required for 1 year
• RTO, block scheduling, and special scheduling requests must be submitted with the application and are subject to approval
