Interventional Radiology
Location
- Fishersville, Virginia
Job Type
- Travel/Contract
Schedule
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Rotating overnight OR call and weekend call
- Call: 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
- Holiday call may be needed for OR and possible PICC line assist
Setting
- Acute care hospital
- 5 procedure rooms:
- 2 fluoroscopy rooms
- 2 ultrasound rooms
- 1 CT-capable room
- Average volume: 10–15 cases per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Fluoroscopy experience
Case Mix
- Joint injections
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Lumbar puncture
- Nephrostomy and cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges
- Abscess drains
- Port placements
- Biopsies
- Thrombectomies
- Embolizations
- Chest tube placements
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: Black or Caribbean blue
- Parking is free in unrestricted spaces
