Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Overview

• Location: Rio Rico, Arizona
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Role Focus

• Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians
• Support injured-worker care, return-to-work planning, post-offer testing, work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic/job analysis
• Handle scheduling, referrals, billing code use, and communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses
• Participate in marketing, business development, and community outreach
