Description
RN - IMC
Overview
- Travel RN position in Marquette, Michigan
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- No scheduled call, but call may be assigned if unit census drops
- Must be willing to float
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- 24-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:3 for IMCU
- Specialty areas include Level 2 ICU with open heart program, cath lab, neuro surgery, Level II trauma center, and CRRT programs
Preferred Experience
- CVICU
- Neuro ICU
- Organ donation
- Pediatric DKA
Additional Notes
- Local candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel
- Dress code includes Galaxy, Royal, or navy blue scrubs
- Hoodies and open-toed shoes are not allowed
