Description
Cardiac Cath / EP Technologist
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; one to two weeknight call shifts and every fourth weekend
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 40
Overview
This role supports cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology procedures, including TAVR and left atrial appendage closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile supplies, equipment, and patient access sites for procedures
- Maintain sterile and aseptic technique during procedures
- Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
- Support patient comfort during procedures
- Manage post-procedure equipment and supply sterilization
- Follow radiation safety practices and document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience
- ARRT or RCIS
- Cardiovascular Technologist
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Radiologic Technologist experience
