Job Summary
Title: OR Scrub Tech - Variable
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Role Overview
This role supports operating room workflow with duties including:
- Turnover cleaning
- Transporting patients when needed
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Endoscopy Technician experience
- Ophthalmic Technician experience
Schedule
- Variable shifts based on department needs
- 40 hours per week, with possibility of 32 hours in a holiday week
- Call is required, averaging 1–2 times per week and up to 2 weekends per month
- 20-minute call-back time
Additional Details
- Orientation occurs on day shift for up to one week, or at manager discretion
- Scrubs are provided
- If requested time off is taken, the traveler must complete at least 39 shifts during the contract
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for a Friday employee health appointment
