Oncology Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 5x8s, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Ambulatory oncology clinical RN coordinator supporting radiation oncology clinic operations.
Core responsibilities include triage, patient flow coordination, symptom escalation, procedure support, and cross-coverage for care coordination.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Oncology (3 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
Ambulatory Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

OCN certification preferred

Certification / Education Requirement

Must hold one current cancer-specific certification in the nurse’s specialty, or meet Commission on Cancer education requirements through completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each accreditation cycle

Schedule Notes

Evening triage coverage is part of the role, approximately 5:30 PM–8:30 PM
