Unit Details

16-bed unit
Typical patient ratio: up to 6:1
Floating may include med/surg units
Normally rotating weekends, as needed for travel RNs

Clinical Focus

Care for med/surg patients
Standard nursing tasks including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, communication with the care team, and documentation in the EHR

Preferred Background

Ortho or neuro-surgery background
Med/surg/telemetry background
