Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Bozeman, Montana

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift, no call
40 hours per week
May require weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call coverage

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Montana
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

One year of post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities

Perform general nuclear medicine examinations, including therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams
Perform nuclear medicine quality control measures and patient exams/procedures
Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, retrieval, billing, and radioactive materials handling
Verify written and electronic orders and related health information
Support quality improvement activities

Hospital-based, acute care setting
Busy and stressful environment

Additional Notes

Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
On-time completion of required education is expected per applicable requirements and policy
