Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Bozeman, Montana

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift, no call
40 hours per week
May require weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call coverage

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Montana
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

  • One year of post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general nuclear medicine examinations, including therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams
  • Perform nuclear medicine quality control measures and patient exams/procedures
  • Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
  • Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, retrieval, billing, and radioactive materials handling
  • Verify written and electronic orders and related health information
  • Support quality improvement activities

Work Environment

  • Hospital-based, acute care setting
  • Busy and stressful environment

Additional Notes

  • Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
  • On-time completion of required education is expected per applicable requirements and policy
