Cytotechnologist
Job Overview
- Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
- Facility: Valley View Hospital
- Employment Type: Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8s
- Hours per Week: 38
Role Summary
- Read PAPs and non-GYN slides
- Perform molecular testing on PAP vials
- Perform grossing
- Screen an average of 40–80 slides per day
- Assist in specimen collection as requested
- Maintain computerized patient records
Required Qualifications
- Cytotechnologist (2 years of experience)
- Cytotechnologist experience within the last year
- CT (ASCP)
- Associate degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Notes
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Colorado CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Submission requires a resume, skills sheet, and credentials
