Cytotechnologist

Job Overview

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Facility: Valley View Hospital
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8s
Hours per Week: 38

Role Summary

Read PAPs and non-GYN slides
Perform molecular testing on PAP vials
Perform grossing
Screen an average of 40–80 slides per day
Assist in specimen collection as requested
Maintain computerized patient records

Required Qualifications

Cytotechnologist (2 years of experience)
Cytotechnologist experience within the last year
CT (ASCP)
Associate degree

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Additional Notes

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Colorado CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain
Submission requires a resume, skills sheet, and credentials
