CVOR Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hours per week: 40
Schedule notes: Monday–Friday
Call requirements: 2 nights per week and every other weekend
Holiday rotation: Required
Patient ratio: 1:1
Float: Required
Travel policy: No first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVOR (1 year of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Color Blind Testing
2 supervisory references
7-year work history
Unit-specific skills checklist completed within the last year
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Competency Exam
Core Part I
Core Part II
Core Part III
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
Physical exam
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Drug testing
Flu vaccination or approved exemption, if applicable

Notes for Candidates

Holiday time off during listed holiday periods will not be accommodated.
Local candidates within 75 miles are paid at a lower rate than travelers.
