Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Setting: Acute care hospital
- Unit: Labor and Delivery
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- Weekend requirement: Yes, 16 weekends per contract
- Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Locals accepted: Yes
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not accommodated
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Preferred Certifications
- AWHONN Intermediate
- STABLE
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Must complete assigned modules before start
- Must complete parking registration within 48 to 72 hours after signing
- Must sign required job, confidentiality, conduct, and marketing documents before start
- Must provide a badge photo before start
- Must complete a physical exam within 1 year of start
- Must provide TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Must provide immunity documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- Must complete a drug screen within 30 days of start
- Must provide flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption during flu season
Additional Notes
- Free parking
- No holiday RTO approved the day before, the day of, or the day after a holiday
- Maximum of 5 total RTO days in the 13-week assignment
- No additional RTO after submission or while on contract
- Travelers must commit to going into the lab within 48 to 72 hours of signing
