Job Overview

Work Setting

• Primarily outpatient rehabilitation
• May float within the campus as needed
• May work between med surg, ED, and geriatric behavioral health

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Pennsylvania fingerprints required to start
• Government-issued photo ID
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
• State license verification required
• National tech certification verification required
• Education verification required
• Background check required
• Child abuse search required
• FBI fingerprint results required within 12 months of start
• 7-year criminal search required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
• HHS/OIG check required

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Tdap vaccination within the past 10 years or facility declination
• COVID vaccine or facility declination
• Flu vaccine or facility declination during flu season
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation or accepted alternatives
• Breathalyzer test required within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge
• Orientation packet and acknowledgements
• Medical surveillance checklist
• Bloodborne pathogen quiz
• Skills checklist
• Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable by profession

• First-time travelers are accepted
