Case Manager

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
Day shift, Monday–Friday
5x8 schedule, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Acute Care Case Management (2 years of experience)
Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles
Experience with discharge planning, needs assessment, ordering DME, and developing plans of care
Experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulatory requirements
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Med Surg experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Experience with Epic

Role Focus

Case management and utilization review
Discharge planning
Needs assessment
Ordering DME
Plan of care
Regulatory experience with CMS

Additional Notes

Candidate must be flexible with scheduling
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before start
First-time travelers are not accepted
