Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Davenport, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Health and Safety Requirements
- Fit Test.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (includes methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates) completed within 30 days of start.
- COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster by September 2025, or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer.
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted.
- Influenza vaccine (optional).
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB.
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer.
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- Tdap vaccine or declination if no pediatric interaction.
Professional and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days.
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days.
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
- Code of Conduct form.
- Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement.
- Integrity and Audit Services form.
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only).
- Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries) for Iowa assignments.
- OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days.
- System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start.
- Specialty Specific Competency Testing completed within the last year.
- Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
Documentation Submission
- Resume and skills checklist within the last year.
- Two professional references.
- All required certifications and licenses must be scanned and uploaded with expiration dates visible (front and back of cards where applicable).
- All required forms and verifications must be uploaded into the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
This position requires a highly qualified Emergency Room RN with current certifications and compliance with extensive health, safety, and professional standards. The assignment is a 13-week long-term contract with evening shifts.
