Description
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Location: Laramie, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating
Overview
Performs diagnostic imaging and ultrasound studies, including patient positioning, equipment calibration, and documentation of findings. Assists the radiologist with ultrasound procedures and provides verbal reports to the radiologist and other providers.
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of hospital experience
- ARRT(R) registration
- Experience with non-invasive vascular exams
- Experience with echocardiography exams
Additional Information
- Cross-training in Echo/Stress Echo and non-invasive vascular exams is included
- Strong communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills are important
