Interventional Radiology

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
Weekly hours: 40
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM
Call coverage: Weekends are supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members; after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, primary and backup call techs support coverage
Contract length: 13 weeks
Note: Neuro experience is needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Pre-Start Requirements

Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried while on duty
E-Verify or attestation
Background check covering the last 7 years
OFAC sanctions list search
EPLS/GSA/SAM search within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
HHS/OIG search within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask / respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
TB questionnaire annually
Drug screen within 1 year of start and updated annually
Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption

Testing and Training

Pre-assignment testing must be completed within 72 hours of receiving the testing information
Online orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment
Pass/fail testing is required before orientation
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam is required for positions that dispense medication
Competency exam is required annually
Core training parts I, II, and III are required annually
CMS site documents must be read and signed

Floating policy must be signed
Contractor acknowledgment must be signed within 24 hours of signing the contract
