EP Lab RN Travel Contract
Job Overview
- Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM when not on call; 6:30 AM–5:00 PM when on call
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Details
- The role includes STEMI call coverage, with 6–7 call shifts per month
- Local candidates are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Louisiana RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Electrophysiology Lab (1 year of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- Prior travel experience required
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- MAB or CPI
- STEMI call experience
- 2 references
Additional Requirements
- Copy of photo ID
- Criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Annual respirator fit testing
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- 12-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
- System access and confidentiality agreement
- HealthStream training completion on first day of orientation
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
