Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Ann Arbor, Michigan
- 13-week assignment
- Rotating days/nights
- 36 hours per week
Unit Summary
- Pediatric ECMO-focused role in a large-volume pediatric and adult ECMO program
- Primary patient population includes stable pediatric ECMO patients
- Patient mix includes congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ECMO ICU experience
- ECMO pump experience
- Experience with Epic
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Schedule Details
- 2 weekends per 4-week departmental scheduling period
- No call
- No float
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
- 2 recent verified professional references from a manager or supervisor
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- Drug screen
- Fit test
- TB clearance
- Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- Completion of required onboarding and attestation documents before start
