Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Ann Arbor, Michigan
13-week assignment
Rotating days/nights
36 hours per week

Unit Summary

Pediatric ECMO-focused role in a large-volume pediatric and adult ECMO program
Primary patient population includes stable pediatric ECMO patients
Patient mix includes congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
ECMO ICU experience
ECMO pump experience
Experience with Epic
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Schedule Details

2 weekends per 4-week departmental scheduling period
No call
No float

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
2 recent verified professional references from a manager or supervisor
Government-issued photo ID
Background check
Drug screen
Fit test
TB clearance
Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
Completion of required onboarding and attestation documents before start
