Description

Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • 13-week assignment
  • Rotating days/nights
  • 36 hours per week

Unit Summary

  • Pediatric ECMO-focused role in a large-volume pediatric and adult ECMO program
  • Primary patient population includes stable pediatric ECMO patients
  • Patient mix includes congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • ECMO ICU experience
  • ECMO pump experience
  • Experience with Epic
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Schedule Details

  • 2 weekends per 4-week departmental scheduling period
  • No call
  • No float

Additional Requirements

  • Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
  • 2 recent verified professional references from a manager or supervisor
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Background check
  • Drug screen
  • Fit test
  • TB clearance
  • Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
  • Completion of required onboarding and attestation documents before start
