RN - Med Surg

Assignment Details

Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment type: Travel
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

Medical-surgical orthopedic unit
29 beds, with overflow capacity up to 39
Patient ratio: 5:1
Uses remote telemetry
Typical patients include post-op surgical patients and some cardiac drip patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech experience

Work Environment

High-energy unit
Team includes charge nurse, RNs, and ACT support
