RN - L&D

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Conroe, Texas
Labor and Delivery unit
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Transition experience
Postpartum experience
Maternal - Newborn experience

Preferred Qualifications

Charge experience

Unit Details

8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 OR beds, and 1 recovery room bed
Typical patient ratio: 1:1 to 2:1
Floating may include Mother/Baby

Common Procedures

Laboring and vaginal delivery
C-sections
Care of newly delivered mothers and their newborns

Work Environment

Team-oriented, motivated, independent, and flexible candidate preferred
Royal blue scrubs required
