RN - Emergency Dept
Job Overview
- Location: Longview, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
- Shift length: 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift
- Weekend requirement: Yes, 6 days per 6-week schedule period
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Onboarding / Orientation
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
- New hires are precepted by a trained staff member and must complete organizational entry competency validation and an Emergency Department-specific competency validation
- Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation
- Completion of annual competency verification is required
