Description

Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Gaffney, South Carolina
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Position is for Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with potential float to main campus or other units within the resource float pool.
RN will be scheduled in advance to either Cherokee Medical Center or main campus.
Patient ratio: 1:6
Weekend shifts required as needed.
On-call requirement: either 2 on-call shifts or 2 additional shifts every 6 weeks, including holiday coverage.
Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
Guaranteed hours based on signed contract.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
