Registered Nurse — Emergency Room
Location

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
- Experience with drips including sedations and vasoactive agents
- Experience reading telemetry strips
- Proficiency with antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and pain control medications
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Bed size: 36
- Patient population includes adults and all types of patients
- Floating required across all campuses
- Navy blue solid scrubs
Additional Notes
- Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- EPIC experience is required
- NIHSS is preferred and can be obtained during onboarding
