Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Abbeville, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Medical Surgical
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
First-time travelers: Accepted
Local candidate radius: 50 miles
Clinical note: Comfortable caring for the occasional critical care patient

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Med Surg (3 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Compliance Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
E-Verify proof or attestation
Background check covering the past 7 years, including all locations lived, worked, or attended school
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Primary source verification of state license
Competency exam
Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Initial physical exam, updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization or immunity documentation
9-panel drug screen including marijuana
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
