Pediatric PACU RN
Job Overview
- Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule notes: On-call required; weekends and holidays required; no block scheduling
- Floating: May float to like acuities or lower if needed
- Local candidate restriction: No locals within a 50-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- OR - Operating Room experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Work Setting
- PACU role in a 1:1 patient-to-nurse environment
- Post-surgical recovery care with monitoring of airways, pain, vital signs, and other post-operative needs
Additional Notes
- RTO must be included with submission to be honored at offer
- Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by the manager
