Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Employment type: Travel
- Location: Richmond, Virginia
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Shift: Rotating weekends; on-call is preferable for one 24-hour shift every 5–6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NBRC
- NRP
- ICU Experience
Unit Details
- Fast-paced environment
- Typical patient load: 20–25 treatments per round
- Common procedures include nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and arterial blood gases
