EP Lab RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift, 4x10 hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
First-time travelers accepted
No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Electrophysiology Lab (3 years of experience)
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Radiation badge required
Ability to perform:
- Activated clotting time (ACT)
- Cardioversion
- Circulating procedures
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Monitoring procedural sedation
- Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG

Additional Notes

Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval
Hospital-issued scrubs are used in the EP lab
Epic is used for charting
Parking is available at no fee
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, if needed
