Description
EP Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 4x10 hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- First-time travelers accepted
- No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Electrophysiology Lab (3 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Radiation badge required
- Ability to perform:
- Activated clotting time (ACT)
- Cardioversion
- Circulating procedures
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Monitoring procedural sedation
- Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
- Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval
- Hospital-issued scrubs are used in the EP lab
- Epic is used for charting
- Parking is available at no fee
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, if needed
