Description

RRT

Job Overview

  • Location: Bend, Oregon
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:30
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Block schedule
  • Weekend requirement: At minimum, every other weekend, with possible additional weekends based on operational need
  • Floating: May float within scope to all 4 campus locations
  • First-time travelers: Not accepted
  • Local candidates: Not accepted within a 75-mile radius
  • RTO restriction: 7 days

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oregon
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICU experience
  • Pediatric critical care experience

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
  • HHS/OIG check
  • Diploma or transcript on file
  • Education verification
  • State license verification
  • NURSYS verification
  • Physical exam
  • Tdap within 10 years of start
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
  • TB questionnaire
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
  • Negative 12-panel drug screen
  • Flu vaccination or declination/exemption during flu season
  • COVID vaccination record if previously vaccinated, or declination/exemption if never vaccinated
  • Respiratory safety clearance
  • Skills checklist
  • Facility-specific signed documents and photo for badge
