ICU RN Travel Contract

Location

Bowling Green, Kentucky

Schedule

Night shift
3x12-hour shifts
19:00 to 07:00
36 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Unit Details

Neuro ICU
May float to stepdown with a 1:4 ratio

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (9 months of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
At least 9 months of total travel experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Stroke experience
Bedside dysphagia screening competency

Preferred Qualifications

CRRT experience
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a certified stroke center critical care unit
Meditech experience

Clinical Competencies

Stroke signs and symptoms competency, including BE-FAST
Bedside dysphagia screening competency
Familiarity with current stroke guidelines and performance measures for acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
IV-tPA administration and post-tPA monitoring competency

65-mile radius restriction
Local travelers are accepted at a lower rate
