Registered Nurse — Kingman, Arizona

Overview

• Travel/contract role
• Float between the Emergency Department and the CDU/Observation Unit
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Every other weekend and holidays are included
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• CDU - Clinical Decision Unit experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC

Preferred

• ESI experience
• Meditech experience

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check, updated annually
• HHS/OIG check, updated annually
• Transcript and diploma
• Education verification through NSCH
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• Skills checklist, updated annually

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
