Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate's degree or higher
Experience and Skills
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics
- Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and report to work as scheduled
- Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate records, work with names, numbers, and codes, and handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under stress, work with minimal supervision, and pay close attention to detail
Role Summary
- Entry-level role under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
- Supports diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients
- Prepares patients, performs post-procedure review, transfers images and data, and completes quality control and equipment maintenance tasks
- Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities
