Description
CVPICU Registered Nurse
Location
Atlanta, Georgia
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- CVPICU (2 years of experience)
- CVPICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- May float to ICU areas across the listed campuses and may also float to general pediatrics
Additional Requirements
- NURSYS verification
- Pediatric pharmacology competency for nursing staff
- Competency exam
- 2 clinical references
- Resume/application
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit
Pre-Start Health Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card
- E-Verify documentation or attestation
- Background check
- OSHA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission annual training acknowledgment
- Physical exam
- Fit mask testing
- Tdap vaccination
- TB screening
- Immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
- Drug screen including nicotine/cotinine
- Seasonal flu vaccination documentation
