Registered Nurse — Nights

Location

Hilo, Hawaii

Contract

13 weeks
Night shift
Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first full week of orientation
Must be flexible with varying shift lengths and days
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg experience
BLS
ACLS
CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exception is required before the contract start date

Unit Details

Medical unit
77 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 on days/evenings, 1:8 on nights

Work Setting / Duties

May float to the Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit
Equipment used includes Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes

Orientation

Orientation time is provided for each unit
