PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee

Assignment Details

ASAP start
Unit has a heavy cardiac/CVA population
Must be able to manage cardiac drips, including heparin and nitro

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Ability to manage cardiac drips, heparin, nitro, and similar cardiac medications

Epic experience

Physical exam
Tdap within 10 years of start
TB screening or chest X-ray
Measles immunity documentation
Mumps immunity documentation
Rubella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Drug screen
Flu vaccination or approved exemption
COVID vaccination documentation

Additional Notes

All requested time off must be included at submission or before accepting an offer
