Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1:6 patient ratio experience
• Rapid Response experience
• Ortho Trauma experience

Required Certifications

• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Schedule and Assignment Expectations

• Every other weekend
• Floating required within scope
• No block scheduling
• No RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• Mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week
• Must work assigned holiday coverage if holidays fall within the assignment

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance on file before start
• Education verification
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Fit testing completed onsite during the first week
• TB screening or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 3 months of start
• COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption/declination
• Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption/declination
• Two professional references
• Skills checklist
• Performance evaluation if applicable
