Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview

Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Setting: Inpatient rehab
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/contract
Shift: Day, 5x8s, 8:00am–4:30pm
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Expectations

Weekend work may be required about once per month.
Floating within scope may be needed to meet facility needs.
Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed.
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in South Carolina
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Required Certifications

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Other Requirements

Radiation badge required
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted

Hurricane season runs from June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during that time.
