Description
Interventional Radiology
Location
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 5x8 hours
- 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend coverage
- Call required up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend with weekday call rotation
- Must live and respond within 30 minutes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana
- Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Proficiency in embolization procedures
- Proficiency in coiling procedures
- Proficiency in ablation procedures
- Proficiency in implant procedures (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Skilled in Impella device operation
- Skilled in IABP device operation
- Skilled in IVUS device operation
- Skilled in Shockwave device operation
- Skilled in Rotoblator device operation
- Skilled in laser device operation
Additional Expectations
- Work independently in all CCL procedures
- Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset
- Willingness to share expertise and support colleagues
Work Environment
- Progressive facility performing cardiac, peripheral, vascular diagnostic and interventional, EP, and IR procedures
- Uses Siemens and Cannon labs
- EPIC with Cupid documentation
