Emergency Department RN
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Pasadena, Texas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Alternate weekends required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- ENPC
- Extensive experience with STEMI
- Extensive experience with Sepsis
- Trauma experience
- Stroke experience
Preferred
- Adult and pediatric emergency department experience
- NRP
- STABLE
Unit Details
- 30-bed emergency department
- Typical patient ratio is up to 1:5, depending on acuity
- Common procedures include thoracotomy, arterial lines, and massive transfusion protocol
- Floating may include two free-standing emergency departments
Work Environment
- Uses Meditech, with a planned transition to Expanse on 8/13/26
- Royal blue scrubs required
