Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts: 0645 to 1915
- 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
- No guarantee of hours
Assignment Length
13 weeks
Role Summary
- Float RN covering medical and surgical units
- May occasionally float to the Cardiovascular Unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Float experience within the last year
- 2 years of float experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS
- Procedural Sedation
- TNCC
- ENPC
Unit Details
- Medical Unit: 77 beds
- Laulima Unit: 18 beds
- Cardiovascular Unit: 15 beds
Patient Ratios
- Medical Unit: 1:6 on days and evenings; 1:8 on nights
- Laulima Unit: 1:6
- Cardiovascular Unit: 1:4
Orientation
- Orientation time is provided for each unit
Additional Notes
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday
- Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in place of documented proof of immunity
