Stepdown Cardiac RN
Location
- Morganton, North Carolina
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12 hours
- 19:00 to 7:00
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Overview
- Stepdown/IMCU setting
- Higher-acuity cardiac patients, including post–heart cath patients
- Night assignment
- Local candidates accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Stepdown experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Onboarding Requirements
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Drug test
- Physical exam attestation
- Fit mask clearance
- TB screening
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Respiratory safety clearance
- Facility-specific forms and acknowledgements prior to start
