Job Overview

Location: Juneau, Alaska
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid driver's license
Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 2 years of proven work and continuing education experience demonstrating mastery of doctorate-level knowledge

Role Summary

Provides general physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients across a wide range of ages and diagnoses
Develops, implements, supervises, and modifies therapy plans of care
Works with inpatient and outpatient populations in various settings
Oversees physical therapist assistants and other designated support staff
Documents patient findings, treatment plans, recommendations, and prognoses
Collaborates with the care team, patients, and families to support discharge planning, education, and home exercise programs

Additional Notes

Traveler applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility address
Housing and flights are not provided
